Virginia Beach- Adelina (Bea) Veroniz Norman, 82, passed away October 20, 2012. She was born in Hoehne, Colorado to the late Eloy and Rafaelita Castillo. Bea was the owner of Samson and Delilah Salon in Norfolk and Virginia Beach for 13 years. She was a fantastic cook, especially with Italian and Spanish cuisine. Bea was also a skilled seamstress, who enjoyed making clothes for her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years Robert Norman; daughters Cynthia Morgenstern, Patricia Brownell, and Kathleen Burr; sons George Burr and Phillip Burr; grandchildren Jennifer Brunson, Dallas Horne, Adelina Sizemore, and Patrick Burr; seven great-grandchildren; sister Theresa Sena; and brothers James Castillo and Carlos Castillo. Bea is predeceased by her brothers Danny, John, Theodore, and Eloy Castillo.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 24, from 6pm - 8pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd. Norfolk. A service will take place Thursday, October 25, at 11am in Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Southeastern Virginia Chapter, 6350 Center Drive, Suite 102 Norfolk, VA 23502.
